V máji tohto roku museli čínske úrady pre otrasy evakuovať jeden z najvyšších mrakodrapov Číny SEG Plaza v meste Šen-čen. Takmer 300 metrov vysoký mrakodrap sa totiž z neznámych príčin začal kývať.

Peking 13. júla (TASR) – Čínske úrady potvrdili už najmenej osem obetí pondelkového zrútenia budovy hotela na východe Číny v meste Su-čou. Záchranárom sa podarilo z trosiek hotela S -ťi-kchaj-jüan (Siji Kaiyuan) vyslobodiť ďalších sedem ľudí, čím počet preživších stúpol na 14. Informovali o tom v utorok agentúry AFP a AP.
