Singapore s three largest banks are due to report second-quarter earnings this week.
Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp and United Overseas Bank will report earnings on Wednesday, while DBS Group Holdings will do so on Thursday.
Investors will be watching for any announcements on dividend payments, after the Monetary Authority of Singapore said it will not extend restrictions on bank dividends.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore, the country s financial regulator and central bank, said Wednesday that restrictions on bank dividend payments will not be extended.
Shares of the city-state s top three banks DBS, OCBC and UOB jump in early trade Thursday.
MAS move followed similar relaxations by the European Central Bank and U.S. Federal Reserve.
SINGAPORE Shares of Singapore s top three banks rose Thursday after the country s financial regulator lifted a cap on dividend payouts that was implemented following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Singapore s largest bank DBS Group Holdings climbed around 0.6% in early trade, while smaller peers Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp and United Overseas Bank were up by around 1%.
