BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Xinhua): Various martial arts including Chinese Wushu were demonstrated in Brunei during Martial Arts Open Day on Sunday (Dec 20).
As one of the events organised for the 4th Brunei December Festival (BDF) to promote local tourism and consumption, the Martial Arts Open Day attracted around 400 martial arts performers and local visitors at a recreation park.
Chinese Wushu, Karate, Taekwondo and Silat, a unique form of Malay martial arts were demonstrated by different local martial arts groups. As for us, we are honored to be here presenting our Wushu training efforts to local visitors, Li Hui, the Chinese Wushu head coach who guides the Brunei national Wushu team, told Xinhua.
