Global public cloud spending to hit US$332B by the end of 2021 Global public cloud spending to hit US$332B by the end of 2021 SaaS expected to make up a third of the spending, at US$112.6B. Global spending on public cloud services is forecast to reach US$332.3 billion by the end of 2021, an increase of 23.1 per cent from a year ago, following a push for the technology driven by the coronavirus pandemic.   This is according to analyst firm Gartner, with its research vice president Sid Nag claiming organisations around the world responded to COVID-19 by accelerating their adoption of cloud.
