Big Noise Govanhill to host virtual Christmas event tonight
MUSIC charity Big Noise Govanhill has announced plans for a virtual Christmas event. The event, which takes place tonight at 6pm on the Big Noise Govanhill Facebook page, will showcase music and performances from kids and teenagers who take part in the group. Elanor Gunn, team leader for Big Noise Govanhill, said: Our children and young people have worked so hard to keep practising their instruments and improve their musical skills, often in very difficult circumstances. Independent evaluation by the Glasgow Centre for Population Health shows that taking part in Big Noise helps children and young people to increase their creativity, determination and self-belief.
