The park doubles as a summer campsite and public beach area and is thought to be the most popular park in the municipality. Greg Cowan/The Sun Times Article content Meaford council has voted to restrict a pilot pay-for-parking program to Memorial Park for 2021. The pilot program was first discussed by council during budget deliberations. The original idea, moved forward by council and recommended at a committee of the whole meeting last month, would have resulted in a $10 parking fee implemented for non-resident vehicles at several municipal parking lots.

THRIVE Finds New Permanent Home in Bozeman Thrive, a community-based organization serving parents, children, and community members has found a new permanent home in Bozeman. Thrive recently purchased the Red Chair building in Bozeman with the help of investors, local businesses, and other community foundations. The new location is at 407 S. Ferguson Ave. in Bozeman. Since 1986, Thrive has not had an opportunity to own its own space until now. They currently pay over $100,000/year in rent and associated costs, and while they have made the most of their current space, they are unable to host many of their programs and activities onsite.

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Thrive announced they will be remodeling and moving into the former Red Chair Café and Bar building to continue serving parents and children in the Gallatin Valley. For more than 35 years Thrive has helped families in the region but has also rented the space they currently reside in on Babcock Street. According to Executive Director Carrie Gilbertson the nonprofit currently pays over $100,000 a year in rent and associated costs and are unable to host many of their programs and activities onsite. Not only are they outgrowing the space but they also saw the need to move to a more growing part of the community.
