Wind gusts hit 84mph on the Isle of Wight in the early hours of this morning.
Hovertravel services are currently suspended. An update is expected at 8am.

Red Funnel s Red Jet service has also cancelled its 5.35am crossing from Southampton and the 6.15am from Cowes.
The 6.55am from Southampton and 7.35am from West Cowes have also been cancelled.
