Retail Value Inc. sells Philadelphia-area shopping center for $14 million

Retail Value Inc. (NYSE: RVI), the Beachwood-based company formed to sell shopping centers owned by the former DDR Corp., has made its second sale of 2021 which also is its second in the past few days.
The company announced in a news release late Tuesday, April 13, that it sold Noble Town Center, a 168,000-square-foot property in Jenkintown, Pa., near Philadelphia for $14 million prior to closing costs, prorations and other adjustments. Retail Value, which is known as RVI, said 90% of net proceeds were used to repay mortgage debt, with the remainder retained as cash. It did not identify the buyer.
