Iceland to open third Canterbury supermarket inside The Range next month  |  An opening date has been revealed for Canterbury s third Iceland store. The supermarket chain is taking up residence inside The Range, on the City Retail Park off Vauxhall Road. How the Iceland store is set to look inside The Range Iceland, which has an existing store just a hundred yards away over the opposite side of Sturry Road as well as a branch in Wincheap, is scheduled to open next month. It will launch on Friday, March 19. While the aisles welcome customers next month, a new family cafe and outdoor garden centre are both in the pipeline as part of a proposed extension to the store.

Collared pet shop, Pantiles Cameras and the Trevor Mottram kitchenware store all saw their interiors revamped by pairs of designers who were given two days to come up with a new look for the businesses. Work starts on new Lidl in Ditton  |  Work has started to build a new Lidl store. Planning permission was granted for the supermarket in London Road, Ditton, last August. It will create around 40 new jobs and will have 1,068sqm of sales area. The new branch will include a bakery, toilets and two electric vehicle charging spaces, as well as solar panels.
