HS2 main civils JV brings in new director
Civil engineering joint venture Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and Bam (EKFB) – which is responsible for building the central section of High Speed 2 (HS2) – has appointed a new project director.
Peter Bimson was previously EKFB s deputy project director and Kier operations director. His promotion follows the departure of Eiffage s David Lowery, who joined Galliford Try earlier this month.
Emmanuel Rossignol has been appointed to support Bimson in the role of deputy project director.
The JV is building the 80km central section of HS2 between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Work includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and 30M.m
