Will It Snow Near Oregon Coast This Weekend | Some Beach Hazards Published 01/18/21 at 6:46 PM PDT By Oregon Coast Beach Connection staff (Oregon Coast) – Beach hazards are still in store for the northern half of the Oregon coast and southern third of the Washington coast through later tonight, with the National Weather Service saying all these troubled seas should calm by Tuesday. Sneaker waves are still a great danger through tonight. Seas are expected to possibly rise again on the southern edges of the south coast later this week, however, but not northward. (Photo above courtesy Seaside Aquarium) The bigger story may be snow coming to parts of western Oregon, including the upper elevations of the coast range later this week.

Salute to Service: Somers Beach Project and last updated 2021-01-04 11:41:50-05 SOMERS â The Sliter family, owners of Sliters Lumber and Building Supply based out of Somers have started two challenge grants to raise funds toward the 106-acre Somers Beach State park project. The family is matching up to $100,000 in donations through the Montana State Parks Foundations and $25,000 through the Flathead Land Trust. Sliter s Lumber and Building Supply Chief Financial Officer Andrea Sliter Goudge said the matching funds will go toward the parksâ operation and maintenance costs including staffing, proper restrooms and more. âJust all of the things that it takes for a state park to really create an awesome experience for residents of our community and visitors from out-of-state, said Goudge.
