Charles Art Bishop pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Bishop pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division. According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, two felony cases were recently heard in Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.
Amber Scheree Sims, pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Twenty (20) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Sims, pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Ernie Escamilla, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and was sentenced to Eight (8) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
