The 51st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) on Tuesday announced the slate of 12 foreign films that will be screened under the Kaleidoscope section of the upcoming movie gala.
Three films from France have made it to the section, including “Night of the Kings” by Philippe Lacote, filmmaker Emmanuel Mouret’s romantic-comedy “Love Affair(s)” and the drama-comedy “The Big Hit”, helmed by Emmanuel Courcol.

With most of the film industry struggling to release a movie at all and the majority of streaming platforms just trying to figure out how to function, Netflix has decided to flex its muscle a bit, announcing that it’ll be releasing a new film (or more) every damn week throughout 2021. The streamer released a teaser for a host of its upcoming movies alongside a list of 70 films it has scheduled to drop this year, and that doesn’t include any movies it may buy the rights to stream or anything it hasn’t announced yet.

Netflix is entering 2021 in a big way in terms of delivering original films and they re making that known by promising a new film every week this year on the platform.
This was actually teased last October in national commercial spots but Netflix is now guaranteeing its 193 million subscribers and counting that they will get a new movie every week in 2021. The films will largely be compromised of original productions but there will also be some high-profile acquisitions as well.
The film slate consists of 71 titles that are spread across all genres. Needless to say, Netflix believes they have everything you need for entertainment in 2021.

Netflix has announced its most ambitious film slate ever for 2021.
While movie theaters sit empty and studios worry about additional delays and revenue losses due to the coronavirus, Netflix will be at least one new film every week this year and 70 in total.
The streaming giant unveiled its 2021 release list Tuesday morning with a trailer featuring actors who will star in upcoming Netflix movies this year, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba, Meryl Streep, Zendaya, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Gal Gadot, Dave Bautista, Naomi Watts, Jake Gyllenhaal, John David Washington, and Octavia Spencer.
Included on Netflix’s release list are several movies with local ties, including “Don’t Look Up,” the star-studded comedy currently filming in Massachusetts.
