The Brisbane City Council has approved planning amendments that prevent the grounds of the heritage-listed, riverside mansion Home , also known as Lamb House, from being developed.

Built in 1902-3, the multi-million-dollar property in Kangaroo Point is at the centre of a contentious dispute between the council and its owner, Joy Lamb, who no longer lives at the house.

Airline Road – South Padre Island Drive (SPID) to McArdle Road (18004A, Bond 2018)
The Contractor is reconstructing Airline Road between South Padre Island Drive (SPID) and McArdle Road. During the first phase of construction, all traffic is shifted to the east side of the roadway (northbound lanes) and Airline Road is reduced to one-lane, in each direction, within the construction limits.
On Friday, January 22, from 10 P.M. – 6 A.M. and Saturday, January 23, the Contractor will close Airline Road
between South Padre Island Drive (SPID) and McArdle Road.
During this phase, the following ongoing traffic changes and lane closures will be implemented:

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â A man who was considered a person on interest in connection to the death of a 40-year-old man man found dead in his vehicle, is now arrested.
Corpus Christi police say Mark Hernandez, 24, was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after being located in Robstown.
After an investigation, police determined 34-year-old Stephanie Ysassi was the suspect and she was arrested on a warrant two days later in the 2200 block of Leopard Street following a disturbance.
Investigators released images and video of Hernandez and he was located Thursday by the US Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force.
