COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Kenzie Hauswirth will continue her athletic and academic career as a member of the Ohio State women’s ice hockey team, head coach
Nadine Muzerall announced today.
Hauswirth comes to the Buckeyes after playing in 17 games as a freshmen for Quinnipiac in 2019-20. During that season, the Bobcats played Ohio State during the regular season and Hauswirth said the Buckeyes’ style of play caught her eye.
“I was injured at the time and I remember thinking that I really liked how aggressive and hard they played,” said Hauswirth.
Fast forward one year, and Hauswirth is coming to Columbus and will be a member of the Buckeyes’ team for the 2021-22 season.
