KUALA LUMPUR: Twelve men were arrested while ketum water and leaves worth about RM7,000 as well as cough syrup were seized during a raid on a shop in Jalan Setiawangsa here.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the premises at about 11pm on Wednesday.
Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Rajab Ahad Ismail said police seized 281 litres of ketum water, 63 bottles of cough syrup and eight sacks of ketum leaves.
“We arrested seven traders and five customers aged between 19 and 45 in front of the shop.
