NABU is initiating [Tatarov s] arrest, with the possibility of posting bail, but I don t know what decision the prosecutor will make, Sytnyk said. On December 21, Tatarov came to the NABU where he received a suspicion notice. He also wrote a statement on the temporary suspension of his official duties and their transfer to another official.

Tatarov has been handed today a petition to choose a preventive measure, the prosecutor s office said, noting that the prosecutor s office would ask for arrest with the alternative of paying a bail in the amount of UAH 10 million. The motion will be considered by the High Anti-Corruption Court. The date of consideration is not known yet.

on social media Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) have served with charges of a person who received an unlawful benefit for providing an interest-free UAH 7 million in favor of state-owned enterprise Zhytomyr Armor Plant. The press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) said on Facebook that in 2016 the officials of Optimumspetsdetal LLC contacted the suspect, whose relative, at that time, worked in the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine as well as in the Interdepartmental Commission on the Defense Industry Complex with a request to influence the decision-making on the granting of Hr 7 million to Zhytomyr Armor Plant, for which the enterprise paid its financial obligations to Optimumspetsdetal in the contract for the supply of goods.
