The EU s restrictions on UK exports of shellfish have led to fury in the UK, and it was reported last month that the UK was considering retaliatory action. The Sunday Telegraph reported the Government was considering ending a series of post-Brexit continuity agreements it has with Brussels, which could restrict imports of European mineral water and seed potatoes.

More than a dozen European countries have suspended the use of the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab following claims it could cause blood clots. President Macron has been warned that uptake of the vaccine in France has fallen by 23 percent in only a week. BBC Katya Adler told Newscast: The statistics that I m reading suggest that at the moment amongst the French public, those asked, 20 percent say they would use the AstraZeneca jab compared to 43 percent last week.

The cash is in addition to a separate BBC arrangement for staff taxis, worth up to £74 million when it was last put out to tender in 2018.
The BBC said that £15 million was the maximum possible spend and represented an annual cost of about £2 million.

Outlander hero Sam Heughan has become one of the most popular candidates for James Bond betting for some time now. The Scottish star made waves with his appearance in the STARZ show and 007 fans have since pointed at him to take over from Craig after No Time To Die is released later this year. Heughan recently appeared in a brand new action film, SAS: Red Notice, where he played a Bond-esque protagonist, Tom Buckingham.
US breakfast show host Gayle revealed the Duke and Duchess of Success had spoken to Prince Charles and Prince William but the conversations were “unproductive”.
On CBS, she said: “I’m not trying to break news, but I did actually call them to see how they were feeling and it’s true Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too.
“The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive but they are glad that they have at least started a conversation.
“And I think what is still upsetting to them is that the palace keeps saying they want to work it out privately, but yet they believe these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan still – no one in the royal family has talked to Meghan yet.”
