To the editor: We are all searching for safe entertainment and a few laughs. Well, guess what? You don’t have to dress up, wear a mask, drive or get a babysitter. Just make a bowl of popcorn, and sit back with your family and enjoy Pendragon Theatre’s online production of “The Best Holiday TV Special That Never Aired” at 7 p.m. now through Dec. 31. I promise you that it will be the best $14 you’ve ever spent for a show. As Lonnie Ford pronounced, “It’s a bit nostalgic, eclectic and sometimes absurd! Something for everyone!” From Fran Yardley’s Funny Family Whiskey Fruitcake recipe to Matt Sorenson crooning all parts of a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (Jersey Boys) holiday medley to Kent Streed appearing Forrest Gump style in many historic events, I haven’t laughed so hard in quite a while.

Winter Celebration. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Point Au Roche State Park Nature Center, 19 Camp Red Cloud Road, Plattsburgh. Masks required for ages 3 and up. Stop by the Nature Center for crafts, games, and scavenger hunts that celebrate the official start of winter. All ages and abilities welcome.
 After. 4 p.m., Willsboro Central School, 29 School Lane, Willsboro. 10 minute long short play. Donations accepted. Reservation for seat required, email dhopkins@willsborocsd.org to reserve. Masks required.
TWICE Finally Officially Release Cry For Me
- After the inital performance aired Nayeon, a group member,
lied to led fans to believe that the song was never being released and Twice just decided to perform it for the artpop. But less than two weeks later here we are with an official single after a string of concept teasers.
- One thing that Ms. Nayeon did get correct was that there is no video for the song. Sadly. But we will always have that amazing performance and the looks that came from it.
