A Madison restaurant is facing off with three others to win the Bama’s Best Pizza competition.
Valentina’s Pizzeria and Wine Bar, 25951 Huntsville Brownsferry Road, Suite B, in Madison has made it to the “Flavorful Four” of the contest sponsored by the Alabama Farmers Federation’s Dairy Division and Alabama Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association.

The other three competitors are Carpenetti’s Pizzeria in Moody, Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant in Sylacauga, and Top-Notch Pizza & BBQ in Vernon.

That’s why Michigan’s Best decided to compile a list of the Top 21 restaurants to visit in Michigan in 2021. You might not be able to use it right now, but hopefully better days are around the corner for all these hard-working owners and employees.
This year’s Top 21 features a little bit of everything that Michigan has to offer. From pizza to burgers to fine dining, and from Houghton in the Upper Peninsula to St. Joseph, Detroit, Bay City and Grand Rapids, we give you some of the state’s best.

“David is not only a high school friend, but he’s also worked for me for the past four and a half years,” GAPco owner Sammy Mandell says. “My wife and I have known him and his wife since they got together. What happened is super tragic, and we’ve been doing as much as we can as friends to support him, but we definitely wanted to do something as a business to bring some light to the situation.”
In addition to Wednesday’s fundraisers, one can also support the Stigall family by making a donation to their GoFundMe. According to the GoFundMe page, the money “will be spent on the necessities and for the benefit of David and the children.”
