Best Friends Thrift Shop, 8 Raymond St., Potsdam now has larger floor space. The front half of the adjoining Tile Co. has been invaded by the store s treasurers and bargains, creating over 3,000 square feet of shopping, according to thePotsdam Humane Society. Over 30 volunteers help run the store. Proceeds support operation of animal shelter. The store is open Mondays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. From left, volunteers Leila Thurston, Tom Meade, and Leslie Markum.
