The NRA Should Move to Lawton, Oklahoma!
I just found out that Oklahoma legislators are trying to get the NRA
(National Rifle Association) to move their headquarters to Oklahoma. They re already planning to move their incorporation status from New York to Texas sometime soon. They re also considering relocating the NRA HQ from Fairfax, VA. to a more gun friendly city and state. Oklahoma lawmakers are encouraging them to consider the Sooner State as their new home and have introduced and passed a House Resolution (HR-1007). The resolution outlines the state s protection and support of the Second Amendment and the citizen s right to keep and bare arms. It also addresses how Oklahoma is a very business friendly state allowing businesses to make their own decisions and operate more freely without unnecessary regulation and government interference.

Over the past several years Heinz has introduced all kinds of crazy condiments with their Flavor Mash Ups. Some are really good, others not so much. But, to be honest it s searching them out and trying them out that makes it s so fun. I love trying out all the new flavors and strange combinations, from wild to mild. You d be surprised at how good some of these creations taste and pair with different foods. Oklahoma House Passes Bill to Cap Insulin Costs for Diabetics
Good news if you, a family member or someone you know has diabetes the Oklahoma House of Representatives pass House Bill 1019(HB 1019). The new bill would cap the cost or co-pay for insulin to around
$1.00 a day, $30.00 a month. The bill also addresses equipment, supplies and even self-management training for diabetics. It passed the House by a
(94-2) vote and will now head to the Senate.
If you re diabetic you know all too well how expensive insulin and all the required equipment, testing and other supplies are. Not to mention management check-ups and regular doctor visits. A lot of people are worried as the cost for not only insulin but health care itself skyrockets. Between insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies health care costs just keep going higher and higher. People are going broke just trying to care for themselves or family members. So did you get your stimulus check yet? A lot of people revived their payments over the weekend, myself included. I really didn't think that I would get mine until much later, at least that's how its worked the past few times anyway. Normally I end up being in the back of the line and everyone I know has already gotten their stimulus checks, then I eventually get mine. If you have direct deposit set up and the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) has your banking information on file you'll get it a whole lot faster versus a paper check by mail. I was surprised to say the least when I checked my account and it was there. I guess it was my turn to be first.
House Bill 2588 which would allow teachers, administrators and other school employees to carry firearms on school campuses. The new bill would require that school personnel who wish to carry a firearm while on campus must possess a valid handgun license and met other requirements and criteria set forth by the board of education in their respective districts.
HB 2588 passed the House by a
(79-19) vote and will now head to the Senate.
