Syracuse in the WNBA: Brittney Sykes, Los Angeles Sparks fall to Vegas in second straight loss

The five-year pro veteran started for LA in their second game of the 2021 season. The Sparks (0-2) were defeated by the Las Vegas Aces on the road Friday night, 97-69. Sykes recorded two points, two rebounds, and two assists in the loss. She played 22 minutes and shot 1-7 from the floor. The Sparks shot 36.5% from the field and 29.4% from three in the contest. Nneka Ogwumike led LA with 19 points and five rebounds. Her sister Chiney Ogwumike also tallied double-figures with 11 points while grabbing five rebounds.

Florida Gators lacrosse travels to take on Syracuse

Florida and Syracuse have faced off 11 prior times in program history, with two of those meetings coming in the postseason (2012, 2013). The Orange hold the 7-4 series advantage.
