Star Air begins non-stop services between Belagavi and Nasik

Belagavi, Jan 25: Bangalore based Star Air, plans to expand its operations under the regional connectivity scheme UDAN by began direct flight services between Belagavi and Nashik from Monday.
The day also marks the company’s second anniversary as Star Air operated its first commercial flight on this day two years back.
Shrenik Ghodawat Director Star Air speaking with media persons in Belagavi on Monday and said, the flight connectivity between Nashik and Belagavi is set to boost the regional aerospace sector as Belagavi is India s first private aerospace SEZ. Belagavi caters to the precision engineering requirements of the aerospace sector globally including Nashik, which is India’s defence and aerospace manufacturing hub.
MIAMI – Indian regional airlines Star Air (OG), Alliance Air (9I), TruJet (2T), Air Heritage (4H) and Zoom Air (ZO) are ready to resume full operations in 2021.
Though Bangalore-base commuter airline OG, Air India’s (AI) subsidiary 9I and Hyderabad-based 2T have begun flying again, plans are being made by Heritage Aviation’s 4H and New Delhi-based scheduled carrier ZO to restart services.
After flights were interrupted due to the pandemic, all these airlines took a hit and still face problems such as lack of preparation, mismanagement of their fleets routes that are not viable.
