A jury at Isleworth Crown Court convicted Prince Soni, 46, of sexually assaulting the 12-year-old girl who he molested on a bus in Kingston, west London on December 13, 2019.
A THUG posed as a delivery driver before attacking a woman with a hammer. Richard Johnson sprinted from the scene of the attack shouting abuse after attacking the woman, her husband and son. Johnson admitted aggravated burglary following the incident on August 13 last year in Tilbury and was jailed at Basildon Crown Court. Prosecuting, Edmund Blackman said: “He attended the victim’s home address in Tilbury armed with a hammer which was hidden, and he was carrying a cardboard box and disguises himself as a delivery man wearing a surgical mask. “When she opened the door he grabs her arm, hits her two to three time with a hammer and she screamed, and the blows forced her to fall down. Her adult son rushed to her aid.

A SERIES of initiatives are being launched to support the mental wellbeing of key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) has teamed up with two Ellesmere Port-based Healthbox Community Interest Company and Insight Healthcare to offer the service. The initiatives will provide vital support for health and care workers across Cheshire and Wirral, as well as teachers, paramedics and police officers. They will have three main offers – an emotional support line available from 8am to 10pm seven days a week, additional counselling services, and services to key workers in acute care settings.
