ONLOOKERS who witnessed cars being driven at speed at around the time a man was the victim of a suspected samurai sword attack are being asked to contact police. As the Star reported, a man suffered wounds to his neck during a shocking attack that resulted in a huge police presence descending on a Whiston street on Tuesday evening. The man in his 30s was injured at Stuart House, a block of flats off Delph Lane, shortly before 5pm. Police say the weapon involved was not recovered but was possibly a samurai sword . The victim, who also suffered wrist injuries, was taken to hospital where he was in a stable condition.
