KARACHI: The operation against bandits along the riverbed area of Indus in Garhi Tegho village of the Larkana division has entered its seventh day as police commandos from Karachi have joined the crackdown against criminal elements who killed two cops and another person during a recent encounter, ARY NEWS reported.
According to details, 200 police commandos from Karachi have joined 500 other cops leading the operation against dacoits in the riverbed area.

KARACHI: The Sindh police on Tuesday placed barricades at different areas and roads of Karachi to restrict unnecessary movement of the public to stem the spread of coronavirus, ARY News reported.
According to details, the police implementing on the Sindh govt Covid-19 lockdown orders have set up barricades on different roads of Karachi and asking reason from the public for travel.
The police also distributing masks to citizens at checkpoints.
Sindh’s Home Department issued on Tuesday a notification, restricting the unnecessary movement of people after 8pm from today to stem the spread of coronavirus.
According to the notification, the movement of vehicles will remain restricted after 8pm as people having valid reasons will be allowed to venture out.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Police and Rangers pumped the brakes on unnecessary movement of Karachi’s citizens after 8pm following strict orders by the Sindh government. Police have warned citizens that stern action will be taken against violators of the lockdown.
Police closed down busy markets and shops across the city except for bakeries, medical stores and milk shops. Checking is also underway by deploying barriers along major highways causing unusually dense traffic flow.
The police also erected a large number of checkpoints in the city and patrolled its streets and alleys, with cautionary announcements being made through the patrol vehicles. According to the Sindh Home Department’s directive, only two people are allowed to travel in a car together after 8 pm.
