Indian Airplane Declares Mid-Air Emergency After 7-Year-Old Anemic Girl Suffers Heart Attack January 21, 2021 An airplane in India declared a mid-air emergency after a 7-year-old girl suffered a heart attack and passed away. Ayushi Punvasi Prajapati, who is from Siddharth Nagar, Chaffa, which is located in UP, was travelling with her father when the incident happened. It was reported that 7-year-old girl was onboard the GoAir flight G8307 when she suffered the heart attack. The plane had to land at the Nagpur Airport on January 19, 2021, so the girl could get emergency treatment by the staff of the Kingsway Hospital. She was referred to the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), however, she was declared dead upon arrival.

Representative image NAGPUR: A seven-year-old girl flying on a Lucknow-Mumbai GoAir flight with her father was declared brought dead at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) after being rushed there following an emergency landing at 7.25am on Tuesday at Nagpur airport. Ayushi Punvasi Prajapati, resident of Seheri Khat, Siddarth Nagar, Chaffa in Uttar Pradesh, and her father were on GoAir flight G8307. Officials said they appeared financially backward and the father could barely explain the girl’s condition. The exact cause of Ayushi’s death is not known. GMCH officials said the viscera samples have been preserved to ascertain the cause of death. Prima facie, they said it appears she collapsed due to cardiac arrest triggered by high altitude.

8-year-old Girl Suffers Heart Attack Mid-air, Declared Dead at Hospital After Emergency Landing in Nagpur FOLLOW US ON: An eight-year-old ailing girl flying to Mumbai from Lucknow with parents died in a hospital where she was rushed after the plane made an emergency landing at the Nagpur airport on Tuesday morning, police officials said. The deceased, a resident of Saherikhas village in Siddharth Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, was being taken to Mumbai for medical treatment by her parents by a private airline flight from Lucknow, said the officials of the Sonegaon police station. The Times of India reports that officials said the girl suffered a cardiac arrest mid-air. The parents appeared financially backward and the father could barely explain the girl s condition, they added.
