Osim zabrane putovanja između australijskih država, koja je na snazi još od marta prošle godine, ceo kontinent sada je, praktično, zaključan. Jugoistok Australije suočava se, dodatno, i sa zabranom kretanja dalje od pet kilometara od mesta prebivališta! U državi Novi Južni Vels nedavno je proglašeno vanredno stanje i uvedeno obavezno nošenje maske i na otvorenom, iako broj zaraženih ne dostiže ni 300 što je daleko od globalnih zemalja rekordera, sa znatno manjim restrikcijama.
