Four motorists have been dramatically rescued from a wrecked car on the Sydney Harbour Bridge on-ramp after a horror three-car crash caused traffic gridlock throughout the city.
Emergency crews rushed to the Bradfield Highway in the CBD, about 200m south of the iconic bridge, about 9.20am on Friday after the accident.
Video footage from the scene shows a destroyed silver Toyota Camry sitting in between two lanes, as first responders work quickly and efficiently to save the occupants and clean the debris.

A man will face court today charged with serious offences following alleged incidents in Sydney’s east and the CBD yesterday.
About 3.10pm (Wednesday 21 April 2021), police responded to reports of an alleged assault of a toddler on George Street, Haymarket.
Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command attended and were told a man approached a woman pushing a two-year-old boy in a pram and pinched the boy on the leg several times.
A member of the public attempted to restrain the man, but he fled the scene.

Police charge five after brawl, officers assaulted in Sydney CBD
Five people are before the courts after a brawl in the Sydney CBD on Saturday night that saw several police officers assaulted.
About 11.50pm (Saturday 17 April 2021), officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command responded to reports of a fight at a premises on Pitt Street.
Police were told a man had allegedly punched and kicked another man repeatedly, before being escorted from the location by security guards.
While officers were attempting to arrest the man, a number of other individuals became involved. The man, from Yagoona, then allegedly shoved a constable in the chest.

Pedestrians injured in separate crashes across Sydney
Police are investigating after two pedestrians were injured after being hit in separate incidents in the Sydney metropolitan area.
The first incident happened about 9.30pm yesterday (Thursday 8 April 2021), when an 80-year-old man was struck by a utility as he crossed Gow Street, Padstow.
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition with head and arm injuries.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command spoke with the driver of the yellow Holden ute, a man believed to be aged in his 50s. He was taken to Bankstown Hospital for mandatory testing.
