CEDAR PARK, TX Two men were charged after Cedar Park police and agents of the Austin office of the DEA seized hundreds of fentanyl-laced pills and several firearms last week, officials said.
Aaron Robert Combs, 39, of Cedar Park and Joshua Lee Riffel, 31, of Austin were arrested on Feb. 26 and charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance of 4 grams or more but less than 200 grams.
Both Riffel and Combs were booked into the Williamson County Jail last week. Riffel s bond was set at $50,000, and Combs bond was set at $100,000, according to jail records. As of Friday, both had been released on bond, authorities said.

CEDAR PARK, Texas - Two men have been arrested in connection with an investigation into the distribution of fentanyl after a number of overdoses in Cedar Park and the surrounding region.
The Cedar Park Police Department says that the fentanyl was being distributed by drug dealers as illicit prescription pills in the form of oxycodone. During the investigation, several supply sources were identified and arrested. (Cedar Park Police Department)
Cedar Park police say that 30-year-old Joshua Lee Riffel and 38-year-old Aaron Robert Combs were arrested as part of an operation on Feb. 26. Search warrants were executed at Riffel s home in Cedar Park and Combs home in Austin and both were taken into custody on drug charges.

The Cedar Park Police Organized Crime Unit said Joshua Lee Riffel, 31, and Aaron Robert Combs, 39, were arrested the morning of Feb. 26 after search warrants executed at Riffel’s Cedar Park home and Combs’ Austin home.
