Car stolen at gunpoint in University Heights, police say vehicle may have been followed from a local shopping center

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio Police are investigating today after a car was stolen at gunpoint on Tuesday in University Heights.
According to police, the incident happened around 7 p.m. in the 2400 block of Fenwick Road when officers received calls for the crime. At the scene, the officers spoke with two people who identified themselves as the victims of the theft.

Pleaded guilty of assault by beating. Remanded on bail. Adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared. VIRGILIJUS JANULEVICIUS, 59, of St Mary Street, Southampton. Found guilty of assault by beating. Remanded on bail. Adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared. JORDAN LUKE BENNETT, 25, of Bedden Way, Chandler s Ford. Convicted of assault by beating. Community order made for 12 months to include 90 days of alcohol abstinence and 20 rehabilitation activity days. Restraining order made not to contact his victim. Fined £100. Ordered to pay £150 compensation, £85 court costs and £95 victim surcharge.
