- ADVERTISEMENT - Shootings Police arrested a young man suspected of shooting a teenage boy Sunday morning on Seventh Street between Euclid and Grand avenues near Belmont Heights at around 1:21 a.m. Police said “an altercation” between the man and the teen escalated into the suspect shooting the victim. The 16-year-old victim arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower body, according to police. Saeed Langdon, a 20-year-old Carson resident, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a firearm on a person, police said. Langdon is being held on $1 million bail, police said.
