Wreaths were laid on graves of veterans in Chico as part of national effort
The goal of those laying the wreaths is to honor and remember those who have served, as well as teach younger generations the value of freedom.

CHICO, Calif. - Wreaths were placed on veterans graves on Saturday as part of a national effort to honor those who have served the U.S. Nationally it is estimated that at least 1.7 million wreaths were laid on headstones at more than 2500 locations throughout the country.
Major Phil Barletto told Action News Now that it s the least he and his cohorts could do to honor those who paid the ultimate price for our country.
