Woman killed in North Fairmount fire

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A woman was killed in a house fire Friday night in North Fairmount.
The fire began around 8 p.m. in the 1900 block of Baltimore Avenue, according to the Cincinnati Fire Department.
Initial reports said several people were trapped inside the house.
A 13-year-old boy got out safely before firefighters arrived.
A 24-year-old woman was found unconscious in a closet where she had been hiding on the second floor.
Crews at the scene said it was difficult to get to her because of the layout of the house.
MARIES COUNTY - The Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol and the Rolla City Fire Department Water Rescue Team rescued two people out of a car stuck in a low water bridge late Friday night.Â
Members of the Maries County Sheriff s Office and Vichy Fire assisted MSHP Water Patrol and the rescue team out of Rolla with the rescue. The vehicle was stuck on a low water bridge on MCR 527.
According to the Maries County Sheriff s Office Facebook, the flooded creek trapped two people in their car. They were rescued about three hours after a post was made that responders were on the scene.
‘Interim relief was not announced even three years after formation of PRC’
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Friday termed the 29% fitment to employees bogus and a trap by the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao to deceive the employees yet again.
Speaking to the party workers and leaders live on social media platforms on Friday, he said the Chief Minister did not announce Interim Relief even after three years of formation of Pay Revision Commission and took no action even a month after the submission of the PRC report. However, in view of elections, he held a secret meeting with union leaders and leaked information that 29% fitment would be announced after MLC elections. He warned that if employees trust KCR and vote for TRS in MLC elections then they would not get even 29% fitment once the elections are over. Employees can make their voice heard strongly and put pressure on the government by electing the Congress candidates only.
