The Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress-APC celebrates the state governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu on the occasion of the second year anniversary of his administration.
The Lagos State government has turned in an impressive mid-term reports in spite of the unusual mammoth challenges occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic recession and the EndSars protest.
However, the unexpected setback and distractions have not derailed the Sanwo-olu administration from the fulfillment of its electoral promises.
The early sign that Lagosians were in for a blissful four year term was the well articulated THEMES agenda which remain the main thrust of the social contract between the people and the government.

Lagos State government on Tuesday said it has paid N269, 697,458.75 to families of deceased staff of Local Governments and State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) as insurance packages, disclosing that a total of 160 families benefited from the fund.
Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Dr Wale Ahmed disclosed this while speaking at this year’s Ministerial Press Briefing, held at Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa, Ikeja to mark the 2nd year of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration in office.

THERE is a saying that “a wealthy nation is a healthy nation”. This assertion is anchored on the belief that a healthy population contributes immensely to the socio-economic growth of any society.
This is why one can only but commend the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu administration in Lagos State for making health and environment one of its cardinal programmes as captured in T.H.E.M.E.S(an acronym for the administration’s strategic development agenda, namely: Traffic Management and Transportation, Health and Environment, Education and Technology, Making Lagos a 21st Century Economy, Entertainment and Tourism and Security and Governance) developmental Agenda.
