Da MooCow’s Raiders’ 2021 NFL Draft Scores!!! :=8D By The MooCow on May 3, 2021, 9:39am PDT +
Hay everyone, its yer old pal the MooCow, wandering in from the fields and chewin some cud, and ready to score the 2021 Las Vegas Raiders 2021 draft selections, as only he can. Sooo, without further ado, let’s start to grade! Pick 17: C+ Who it Shudda Been: Teven Jenkins, or Christian Darrisaw (OTs) Sorry, both of these guys are better than Leatherwood, straight up; I think Leatherwood will be a decent OT, but both Darrisaw and especially Jenkins look be pro-bowl level players – and Jenkins had that Mad Mauler/Ritchie Incognito attitude at tackle that both fits the Raiders persona and is what you want out of a tackle. I hope Leatherwood proves me wrong, but to me this is all about sucking on the Alabama/Clemson teat a little too much – and we cows know about teats!

2021 NFL Draft
The Minnesota Vikings knew heading into the draft this year that they had to fill several holes on both sides of the ball. They managed to do so while finding extreme value throughout at many positions of need.
Here’s a complete list of the selections made in this year’s draft and a grade for each player.
Round one: Virginia Tech LT Christian Darrisaw
The offensive line was one of the biggest priorities coming into the draft after a 2020 season in which the unit struggled immensely. Christian Darrisaw was PFF’s highest-graded pass blocker in the power five conferences with an overall grade of 94.5.
Q: Is the Chazz Surratt pick a signal of their plans with Anthony Barr? @joel stegman
AK: It s a significant resource based on a real possibility. The Vikings accepted the possibility of Anthony Barr leaving after this year when they agreed to restructure his contract in a cost-cutting way that makes him a free agent next spring. Surratt, drafted 78th overall out of North Carolina, then became general manager Rick Spielman s highest pick at linebacker since 2015 when Eric Kendricks was taken in the second round. Keep in mind he s entering just his third year at the position. The former UNC quarterback showed intriguing potential while racking up first-team All-ACC honors as a senior with 7.5 tackles for a loss, six sacks and three pass deflections in 11 games. Physically, he s not a projected replacement for Barr in the Vikings schemes at 6-2 and 229 pounds. Spielman called Surratt the modern NFL-type linebacker, first citing his ability to cover and run. While developmental,
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) NFL teams typically use much of the third day of the draft for positional depth and long-term projects, with an eye toward players who can contribute and thrive on special teams. This year, the Minnesota Vikings predictably put an extra emphasis on such units. Their special teams were in disarray last season, a stinging reality general manager Rick Spielman fully acknowledged after finalizing their 11-player draft class . Iowa State running back Kene Nwangwu (fourth round) and Iowa wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette (fifth round) highlighted Saturday's six selections, as players bringing exceptional skill as kickoff returners.
