Chris Jericho defeated Shawn Spears on Wednesday s AEW Dynamite in his first labor out of five.
During the match, Jericho was aided by Sammy Guevara after MJF tried to interfere.
Following the match, MJF said next week s match for Jericho will have a No DQ stipulation, announcing that Jericho will go up against Nick Gage.

AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night with a few surprises. The first was that he had hired a new executive consultant, who turned out to be none other than Chavo Guerrero Jr. The former WWE star departed from the company in 2011, then had runs in Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground, Nacion Lucha Libre and various independent promotions. He also consistently found work in Hollywood, most notably working as the fight coordinator for the hit Netflix series

During Wednesday s AEW Dynamite, Andrade El Idolo told the fans that he has a major surprise.
Chavo Guerrero was announced as Andrade’s new Executive Consultant.
Guerrero took to the mic and said it is a great time to be a wrestling fan and he doesn’t see anyone with as much talent as Andrade.
Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix, and Penta El Zero Miedo) returned and got into a back and forth spat. A brawl almost broke out but referees came to the ring to stop it.

Dynamite: Fyter Fest, replacing his aunt-in-law, Vickie Guerrero.
“I hear that this is the place to be,” Guerrero said. “When I walked backstage, I couldn’t believe all the talent back there. What a great time to be a wrestling fan. With all due respect to all those men and women back there, I don’t see anyone who has as much talent as this man (Andrade El Idolo) right here.”
Chavo was quickly interrupted by PAC, Pentagon, and Fenix. The trio, collectively known as The Death Triangle, emphasized that they don’t hide from anyone, responding to Andrade’s call out from last week. Andrade then got on the mic and proclaimed his superstardom in Spanish, to which Chavo translated for PAC specifically in English. Andrade said he wants Pentagon and Fenix to work for him, not PAC.
