Italian artist Salvatore Garau recently sold a sculpture that he calls I Am for big money at auction, but there s a catch.
The sculpture is INVISIBLE.
According to art website
Hype Beast, Garau says the invisible piece is a metaphor of our time, and the void has energy that condenses and transforms itself into particles, in short, in us!
How much is something like that worth? Apparently around $18,000, which is what someone paid for it.
The buyer didn t go home empty handed tough. They got a Certificate of Authenticity.
Oh, and the artist also suggested the buyer display the piece in a 5x5-foot area, free from obstructions.
