Toy story
I’m toying with the idea of buying a Mk1 Audi TT quattro manual for daily use, from around £3,000. Naturally I would replace the cambelt and auxiliaries as a precaution, and it would be no time at all before a coil pack failed, at which point I’d replace the whole set. Could a car like this be made “solid” for about £5,000, or is it likely to be a joyless money pit? TS
