CRESTVIEW  City officials plan to partner with the nonprofit Main Street Crestview Association to revive the Old Spanish Trail Festival in 2021. The fest took place in Crestview each spring for many years before it ended more than a decade ago. City Manager Tim Bolduc told the City Council on Dec. 14 that the COVID-19 pandemic has “leveled the playing field” for Crestview, because while other communities have canceled or postponed various events, Crestview has continued to host many activities. In partnership with the Main Street organization, city events that took place this year included the Fourth of July celebration and the Fall Festival, as well as more recent events such as the Jingle Bell Jog race and the Christmas parade.
