While he may be the new head coach for the debate forensics team, Kiefer Storrer isn t new to Kansas Wesleyan University.
After a successful 2020-2021 season that saw the KWU debate and forensics team take home national individual titles and a third-place finish overall, iconic head coach Gary Harmon decided to retire, making way for his new assistant and former team member Storrer to take over.
Storrer, originally from Osage City and a 2013 graduate of KWU, is looking forward to his new role. It feels really awesome, not only moving from the assistant coaching position to the head coaching position but also being back in person, Storrer said.
