Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton issued an ultimatum Thursday, contending Congress must choose between preserving the filibuster or protecting voting rights for minorities. But doing both, she suggested, is an impossibility.
“We can preserve the filibuster, or we can preserve the voting rights of people of color. But we can’t do both,” Clinton said, providing a CNN graphic of the United States which identified bills “aiming to curb voting rights introduced in almost every state”:

The crisis at the border gets worse with each passing day. More than 20,000 migrant children are currently in custody.
Yes, some are five and six years old, but most are teenagers. And many of them are young adults â 18, 19, and 20 years old. They are arriving with no identification, and human traffickers have told them to say theyâre 16. Some are also gang members.
The Biden/Harris administration is putting them all in huge detention centers. Not surprisingly, sexual assaults are reportedly taking place in these taxpayer-funded shelters.
To give you some idea of just how bad the crisis is, the Biden administration is about to open its 12th emergency overflow shelter at the Long Beach Convention Center. At least three military bases are now housing migrant children as well.
Kraken to Go Public in 2022 via Direct Listing, Not IPO

The crypto market has been seeing unusual growth these days, encouraging exchanges to go public. Kraken’s major rival in the US Coinbase has already received approval from the SEC for its direct listing.
Crypto exchange Kraken is considering going public in 2022 through a direct listing after the exchange platform saw record trading volumes in the first quarter amid the Bitcoin rally. Kraken has evolved over the years to become the world’s largest exchange in euro volume and liquidity. Founded in 2011, the exchange now has over 6 million clients and is currently ranked 4th largest crypto exchange by CoinMarketCap.

Actually, I’m skeptical. For one reason: If she egged MLB on privately to yank the All-Star Game and then turned around and cut a video for public consumption disagreeing with the move, baseball executives would have ratted her out to the press, no? They would have resented taking an unpopular action at her behest only to find her on the other side of the dispute once the deed was done. They would have leaked. And so far, no one has.

As we have already reported, MLB pulled their All Star Game from Georgia in protest against the new Georgia election law which Democrats falsely claimed was Jim Crow or inhibiting voting.
After they did it and after there was a backlash to it, Stacey Abrams, who had been in full assault on the Georgia law then tried to skate away from any responsibility for the decision by MLB which cost Georgia $100 million and a whole lot of hardworking people income that, after a pandemic, one has to think they desperately need. Before the backlash Abrams had been encouraging people to pressure businesses against the law. She “said business leaders should take an unequivocal stance against the proposed voting restrictions in Georgia and other states.”
