Burglary, stalking, domestic abuse and breaches of Covid rules - just some of the crimes dealt with this weekend Assaults and arrests for stalking were just some of the incidents dealt with by police over the weekend. Officers in Chorley were also forced to step into a neighbour dispute on Friday evening as well as being called for several breaches of Covid regulations. One man was arrested on suspicion of two burglaries as well as possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a bladed article, while another man was arrested for domestic related assault.

A busy night shift for Chorley Police The male, arrested in Charnock Richard, was also in possession of an offensive weapon and a bladed article. All property from the burglaries was recovered.
Other incidents included dealing with several assaults at one incident, arresting a male for stalking offences, handling with a neighbour dispute and several COVID-related calls in Chorley.
Meanwhile, in Leyland, a male was arrested for domestic related assault.
And in Euxton, police dealt with a juvenile nuisance incident and dispersed another group of juveniles.
Chorley Police also posted on their Facebook page: We have also dealt with general tasking throughout the area and have been searching for two missing persons also.
