A spokesperson for a New York City Council campaign is claiming that contrary to news reports, their campaign manager never said that the Upper West Side of Manhattan is âtoo white and too Jewish.â

Mootz, who is white and Jewish and has worked for Bernie Sanders, also labeled people s y and blasted a critic of woke politics as a f king moron
Her comments sparked a backlash online; one critic wrote: What is the world coming to when a political candidate runs on an explicitly racist platform?
