Dispersal order issued targetting motorists in Greenhithe

Crossways Boulevard in Dartford. Kent Police have a issued a dispersal order for the entire weekend in Greenhithe after repeat incidents of reckless nuisance motorists gathering in the area. Officers have been called out to the Crossways Boulevard area on both the past two weekends reports of motorists gathering in the area and driving in a reckless manner. Fines were issued to five men on the first weekend, and the second incident saw the group flee, with one vehicle seized after being driven in a poor manner. Following the disturbances, a dispersal order will be enforced in the Crossways Boulevard area between 8pm on Friday 5 March and 8pm on Sunday 7 March.

Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford People are fundraising for a group of NHS staff working on the front line of the pandemic at Darent Valley Hospital after they were all targeted by catalytic converter thieves. Four members of staff had their catalytic converters stolen from their cars as they worked shifts inside the Dartford hospital on Monday. The vehicles were all parked on Darenth Valley Road in the staff car park, and are understood to have been targeted between 8am and 5:30pm on January 11. Kent Police have since shared a public appeal seeking information. At present no suspects have been identified however officers from the Dartford Community Safety Unit are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
