STAFF at a nail salon based in Westbrook could not hide their delight after scoring a prestigious national award. Naked Beauty and Training, which operates out of the Westbrook Centre, was named Nail Salon of The Year at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards. The business also came seventh in the coveted Salon of the Year category, despite only opening in its current location months before the first coronavirus lockdown. Its owners hope this award is only the beginning, with the salon yet to fulfil its true potential. “We just could not believe it – we were made up,” said founder and co-owner Sarah Russell.
