The People of NH Have Revealed Their All Time Favorite Cheese

The People of NH Have Revealed Their All Time Favorite Cheese I have been a cheese fanatic ever since I was a little girl. I remember sneaking slices of individually wrapped Kraft American cheese slices out of the fridge. I would usually get caught by my mom in the unwrapping process and she would confiscate the cheese. Not because she was cruel but because it was most likely my third slice that day. If I did quietly and successfully unwrap my treat I would eat it as quick as possible like a sneaky, cheese addicted mouse. Now I m a big girl and can eat all the cheese I want! That s right, watch out world! Charcuterie boards aka meat and cheese boards are all the rage right now and I love crafting them up when we have company. Which, sadly, is not often lately. Thanks a lot, Covid!

How Not to Read Cheesy Books with Your Quarantine

For parents of school-aged children, it’s finally sinking in: This will be a long COVID winter. We’re already eleven months into isolation, which feels like the previous winter never really ended. We simply went from bundling up our kids before they played in the yard to slathering them with sunscreen (for the same yard) to bundling up again. And our hearts sink every time they wander back indoors. What to do next? In both our families, the answer is always books. Not only does an author reside in each household; in addition, Erin runs an elementary school library, and Sarah helps plan literary conferences. Plus, both of us are preliminary judges for the annual CT Book Awards: Erin in the Children and Youth category, Sarah for Fiction. We unabashedly consider writers to be essential workers.
