For a second consecutive night, Burlington Police arrested familiar suspects following downtown assaults, both involving dangerous weapons.
In the latest case, William Farnsworth, 32, who was most recently living in a state-funded motel, was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. Police said he attacked another man near the corner of Church and Pearl streets around 11 p.m. Wednesday, leaving him bloodied and requiring medical attention.
Police said they located Farnsworth soon after on Elmwood Avenue and recovered a pair of brass knuckles in his pants pocket.
