Bernice Jettie Wright, born in Sevier County on June 8, 1937, passed peacefully on Jan. 8, 2021.
She was married the late Frank âPeteâ Wright when she was only 18 years old. They lived and worked in Sevier County all their lives.
Bernice loved her family and friends and found special joy in children. She was sought after as an expert cleaner and took great pride and satisfaction in this talent. She enjoyed talking or visiting with friends and family and in the simple things in life.
She is survived and will be missed by her sons, Johnny Wright and David (Vickie) Wright; 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and 1 great grandson; her sisters, Reba Loveday and Wanda Rauhuff; and numerous relatives and lifelong friends.
